Jury Vera Pizza Napoletana Photo Awards
The first part of the international photo contest "Vera Pizza Napoletana Photo Awards" organized by AVPN and has been coordinated by Emanuele Di Cesare (Sokan Communication).
- Oliviero Toscani (Guest of Honor):
Oliviero Toscani, son of the first photoreporter of Corriere Della Sera, was born in Milan in 1942 and studied photography and graphic arts at the University Of Zurich from 1961 to 1965. Well-known worldwide as the creative force behind the most famous magazines and brands in the world, including corporate images and advertising campaigns for Esprit, Chanel, Robe di Kappa, Fiorucci, Prenatal, Jesus, Inter, SNAI, Toyota, Ministry of Labour, Health, Artemis, Woolworth and others. - Vittorio Sciosia (Jury President): is a journalist and photographer specialized in travel, architecture and food. He worked with the best Italian and international magazines in the field, including a collaboration with Discovery Channel when he lived in the United States. Today he lives in London though because of his job he usually travels a lot and, often he comes to Italy. Food has become an important part of his work as photographer and the book on the True Neapolitan Pizza, recently printed, is a proof of that.
- Luciano Furia: is an electrical engineer who specialized in the USA as bioengineer. In recent years managed to combine his two main and essential passions, food and photography, exploring this new form of art.
- Karen Phillips: wine and food blogger with a passion for photography. Her photos can be found on his blog, Andiamotrips, where she tells about her experiences in the vineyards, restaurants and pizzerias in Campania.
- Lucio Rossi: He traveled in more than 80 countries realizing photo features for some of the most famous Italian magazines for photography books and guide books for Mondadori. is one of the founding members of Latitudeslife.com.
- Carlo Fico: Photographer / filmmaker Professional freelance he works in different fields including sports, reportages, live music, and especially food, collaborating with the organizations of great events and great chefs / pastry chefs of the Italian program schedule.
